Red River College – North West Company Scholarship Award
Two scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded annually to deserving ACCESS Model Program Aboriginal students in the Business Administration Integrated program. One will be awarded to a second year student and the other to a third year student. Recipients will have achieved a minimum academic standing of 65%. Business Council of Canada – Aboriginal Education Awards
The North West Company is proud to be a part of the Business Council of Manitoba’s Aboriginal Education Awards program. The Business Council offers awards to assist with the cost of tuition, books and supplies during the academic year. Each award is up to a maximum of $3,000 for university and $2,000 for college students. Click here for more info.
National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF) - Indspire Awards
The Indspire Awards recognize Indigenous professionals and youth who demonstrate outstanding career achievement. They motivate and serve as invaluable role models for all Indigenous peoples. Each year 14 recipients are selected by a national jury for their outstanding accomplishments in various disciplines, as well as specific recognition to three outstanding youth and a lifetime achiever. University of Manitoba – Aboriginal Student Scholarship in Business
The North West Company has established a fund at the University of Manitoba to provide an annual scholarship to Aboriginal students in the Asper School of Business.
To be eligible for this scholarship, students completing an Asper Co-op Work Term during this time period must have completed at least 9 credit hours (60% course load) during each of their academic terms. Click here for more info.
