The North West Company holds successful recruitment event

A hiring event held in late September helped The North West Company find a handful of its newest employees. 

The North West Company holds hiring events to help attract a large number of candidates in many different roles and hold on-the-spot interviews.

North West partnered with Indeed for the event on September 26th. Potential employees went on walking tours of North West’s Training Centre in Winnipeg and attended information sessions.

“It was a tremendous success. Over 50 people showed up to the event, and 18 stayed for an in person interview. To date we have hired six individuals and have another two that received an offer,” says Manager of Recruitment Pat O’Donnell.

These hiring events also give The North West Company a chance to provide interested candidates with a detailed presentation on what the company has to offer.
