Buffalo Narrows is located in Northwest Saskatchewan, 425 kilometers northwest of Prince Albert, between Peter Pond Lake and Churchill Lake. The northern village has a largely Métis population of about 1,110, as per 2016 Census Canada data, consisting of people with Cree, Dene and European origins.

The community’s Northern Store Manager, Calvin Daigneault, and his team are strong community supporters and team players – especially during the ongoing pandemic.

“We had a lot of support from the Metis’ Local #62 Board and the local Friendship Centre here in town to provide masks and hand sanitizer. We're also working with community leadership to make masks mandatory and enforce safety precautions. Store delivery and curbside pickup are also offered due to Covid-19,” said Daigneault.
