On August 30, 2025, AC Lakeside hosted its annual customer appreciation BBQ event, raising funds for the Sitka Cancer Survivor’s Society (SCSS) in Alaska, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to honoring, educating, comforting and inspiring individuals and families affected by cancer.

The Burnt Ends, AC Lakeside’s volunteer fundraising BBQ team, fired up the grill as the store welcomed everyone with food, fun games, and live DJ music. The store raised $2,546 for SCSS, supporting their Mini Grant Fund program, which provides assistance to Sitka residents affected by cancer.

AC Lakeside is grateful for the gathering that brought together customers, community partners, and local businesses in support of a meaningful cause.
