Alongside its rich history, scenic landscapes and cultural heritage, Moose Factory is home to many talented artists whose creativity reflects deep cultural roots.

This fall, local artist and valued Northern store customer Martha Koosees set up a booth outside the store, showcasing vibrant paintings and unique canoe-shaped bookshelves. Her artwork drew attention from shoppers and community members alike.

Earlier this year, the store highlighted a handcrafted piece by Samuel Koosees, which he displayed in-store, and supported another local artist, Billy Koosees, by contributing toward material costs and promoting his handcrafted geese sculptures on the store’s social media page.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support local artisans through social media features, in-store promotions, and direct contributions, and look forward to continuing to celebrate the creative talent within the community.
