On December 6, 2025, RiteWay welcomed the island community of Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, to the grand reopening of its store, offering a reimagined shopping experience tailored to the needs of the community it serves.

The 14-month revitalization project culminated in a modern, customer-focused store designed to enhance convenience, comfort and accessibility for all. Opening day celebrations included a ribbon- and cake-cutting ceremony, live DJ music, food sampling, and remarks highlighting the store’s new features and community impact.

“This store represents more than a business—it is a symbol of our endurance and commitment to the community,” said Store Manager Frederickson Audain during the opening ceremony, sharing his excitement and pride in the store’s return. He also expressed gratitude and acknowledged the efforts of local contractors, as well as the RiteWay and RTW teams, whose dedication brought the project to life. “Their commitment over the months ensured that we could deliver a store the community deserves.”

The reopened store features an expanded and augmented layout that allows for easy in-store navigation, and a more comfortable, efficient shopping experience. In addition to a larger assortment of fresh produce, the store will receive direct bi-weekly shipments to ensure timely access to seasonal and everyday items. Customers can also find a broader range of general merchandise, along with a full-scale deli section offering an upgraded menu.

More than a milestone, these improvements reflect RiteWay’s ongoing commitment to reliable service, long-term investments, and strong community partnerships, reinforcing its dedication to serving the communities it proudly supports.
