On December 10, our Northern store in Fort Chipewyan was proud to support the 2025 Métis Winter Gathering & Christmas Celebration, organized by the Fort Chipewyan Métis Nation in Alberta. Each year, the gathering plays a meaningful role in strengthening cultural connection and community spirit through festive activities.

Store Manager Bradley Wyman worked closely with event organizers to help ensure the program received the support needed to bring holiday cheer to the community. The event opened with a prayer, followed by games, door prize draws, and a delicious feast, creating opportunities for families, senior residents, and youth to connect and celebrate together.

Youth also enjoyed a special visit from Santa, who distributed gifts and treats. Our Northern team was happy to support this annual gathering and spread holiday joy throughout the community.
