This year, the Northern store in Oxford House, Manitoba was proud to support the 2nd Annual BCN Prevention Youth Hockey Tournament held from February 14 to 16. Organized by the Bunibonibee Cree Nation Prevention Program, the event brought together community members, hockey fans, and teams from neighbouring communities for a weekend of friendly competition.

Spectators had a chance to participate in door prize draws throughout the game days, including a brand new Ski-doo proudly donated by the Northern store. Individual performances and team achievements were recognized throughout the tournament, motivating youth to give it their best.

The Northern team looks forward to continuing its support for local initiatives that create lasting, positive impacts across the community.
