This June, a U11 team from Moosonee, northern Ontario, participated in the Hockey Benders 400 Cup tournament, proudly wearing apparel sponsored by the Northern Moosonee store.

The store was pleased to support the young athletes to showcase their skills, connect with other teams, and represent their community. The team finished in third place and is continuing this momentum by participating in more tournaments this summer.

"The tournament provided the kids with a larger platform to showcase their skills,” said Team Manager Lyle Longboat. “Our young hockey stars need the community's encouragement and support so that they can grow to become stronger athletes in the future.”
