On June 25, 2026, two high school graduates from Pimicikamak Cree Nation received $500 bursary awards proudly sponsored by NorthMart in recognition of their academic milestone.

Our Northmart team proudly presented certificates of merit and bursaries during the graduation ceremony held at the local community arena. Recipients were selected by the Cross Lake Education Authority to encourage and support their educational endeavors. 

“Graduation ceremonies are always cherished by our community because families come together to celebrate an important milestone,” said Store Manager Aswin Anikuttan. “This year was especially meaningful, as six of our store employees were also among the graduates.” 

Empowering Pimicikamak Cree Nation youth through support for education, well-being, and cultural pride remains important to NorthMart.
