This July, Garden Hill Anisininew Nation celebrated its annual Treaty Days and Canada Day, proudly supported by the Northern store through meaningful contributions to local festivities and a team-hosted community feast.

As part of the celebrations, the band organized a variety of activities including fishing derbies, canoe races, shared meals, and a community draw, supported by the store through an ATV donation valued at more than $9,000. The team also hosted a community BBQ, adding to the festive spirit and bringing together residents to enjoy food and refreshments.

“Days like these remind us of the strength we have as a community,” shared Garden Hill First Nation Chief Dino Flett. “Thank you to the Northern store and their incredible team for hosting the feast and supporting the celebrations this year.”
