Ahead of the back-to-school season, Cost.U.Less Grand Cayman joined Caribbean Alliance’s Stuff the Bus donation drive, collaborating with vendors and customers to help ensure youth in the community had essential school supplies for the new academic year.

For the last eight years, Cost.U.Less has been a proud partner of Stuff the Bus. Led by Store Manager Mary Reynolds, the store worked with local vendors, including Coca Cola, Taino Chips Ltd., and The Best Dressed Chicken, to run purchase-based fundraising campaigns, with vendors donating a portion of the sales proceeds to the initiative. Together, these efforts helped raise more than $2,500 toward the initiative.

On the day of the drive in early August, customers also stepped up to purchase and donate learning materials in addition to the 100 store-prepared supply bags. Stuff the Bus collects and distributes the supplies to families in need of extra support through local schools and community partners.

“There are many households facing financial pressures, and they shouldn’t have to worry about getting the basic supplies their child needs in order to go back to school,” shared Store Manager Mary Reynolds. “We’ve been partnering with Caribbean Alliance on this important initiative for eight years and we look forward to growing the impact we can make with it every year.”
