Indigenous and Local Procurement Opportunity
At North West, our value offer is to be the best local shoppng choice for everyday household and local lifestyle neets, and we prioritize working with a diverse pool of suppliers to offer a broad range of grocery and consumer products to our customers. We see a great opportunity through our procurement practices, to support the development of local and Indigenous business and further our vision of creating an equitable and sustainable future with our partners.

What if I do not have a business number (GST#)?
GST numbers are required for all businesses with annual revenue over $30,000. If your annual revenue is less than $30,000, you can register without a GST#.
What can I expect at the meeting?
Expect a dedicated 20 minute session with our Merchandise procurement team to showcase your business and products and discuss opportunities to have your products sold in Northern and NorthMart stores.
What should I bring to the meeting?
We recommend coming to the meeting prepared with digital and print copies of your presentation, and a selection of product samples and catalogues.
What happens next?
If your products are a good fit for our stores, we will arrange a follow-up meeting to confirm details. Our Merchandise team will then help you register as a vendor with The North West Company.
If your products are not a good fit at this time, we will let you know at the end of the meeting and provide feedback on product development and future opportunities.
