Founded in 2013 by Michelle Cameron, a proud member of the Peguis First Nation, Dreamcatcher specializes in customizable branded merchandise and apparel. Our partnership with Dreamcatcher began in 2022, when collaborative efforts led to our first branded apparel purchase from their Indigenous Nations Apparel Company (INAC) store for MMIWG2S and Every Child Matters charity fundraising events—marking the beginning of a meaningful and ongoing partnership.
In 2023, Dreamcatcher became North West’s exclusive partner for its Town-Name Apparel Program, working closely with category managers to create vibrant designs unique to each community and store location. This year, their role expanded through the Gift Shop Program, producing culturally rooted apparel and souvenirs.

In 2023, the Healthy Horizons Foundation, the charitable arm of The North West Company, launched its mascot, Northy, developed in collaboration with Dreamcatcher. Each edition of the Northy Bear is thoughtfully adorned with symbols representing Inuit, First Nations, and Métis cultures. All proceeds from Northy sales support youth programming in rural, remote, and northern Indigenous communities.
North West is proud to continue building meaningful economic relationships with local and Indigenous partners like Dreamcatcher Promotions and support community growth, promote Indigenous product representation, and honour the cultural pride of the communities we serve.
